THURSDAY, APRIL 17, 11:30 AM - 1:30 PM EDT FRIDAY, APRIL 18, 11:30 AM- 1:30 PM EDT (East Coast United States) LEVEL ALL COURSE DESCRIPTION The Triangle (or Wedge) Brush has become my favorite tool for graceful florals because they complement pointed pen work so well. In this class, we will learn how to use it to achieve graceful leaf shapes, and petal shapes. Through a series of exercises, the will explore the feel and technique used to create these shapes, and then put them together to achieve beautiful tulips and magnolias. DATE AND TIME The class will be two 2-hour sessions on THRUSDAY, APRIL 17 and FRIDAY, APRIL 18 via Zoom. You must load Zoom on your computer, please email me if you need help setting this up. SUPPLIES 1 sheet of cold press Arches Watercolor Paper, any weight is good for practice Triangle (Wedge) brush, (Silver Ruby Satin or Royal Langnickel are current brands available) small round brush, size 3 or 4 tube watercolors - suggested colors for florals would be Quinn Rose, Rose Madder, Alizarin Crimson, Sap Green, Undersea Green, New Gamboge, Raw Umber, Payne’s Gray or your favorite spring garden colors small plastic palette containers for water pencil eraser SUPPLIES CAN BE FOUND AT JOHNNEALBOOKS.COM OR PAPERINKARTS.COM VIDEO A Video of the class will be available for all enrolled students available for 2 MONTHS.
